1st day to blog
For those of you who don’t know me I live in North Mississippi and was slightly in the path of the Hurricane known as Katrina we’ve encountered in recent days. We were without lights from Monday afternoon until Thursday morning and we spent most of the time at my mom’s since she had light 20 min away. We were truly blessed though to be safe and sound unlike so many in New Orleans and on the gulf coast.. this was truly the most chaotic tragedy I’ve seen to hit as a natural disaster… reminds you of Sept 11 with quite a different angle. I’m ready to get back to life as normal.. not sure it will too soon, with gas prices rising and store shelfs bare from people having to re-stock their lives its hard to see things as normal. But, I know that as days pass normalcy will creep back in. I”m ready for my hubby to return to work and me to return to my daily routine.
