Thanks to Janelle for her kind words about my previous blog.  We truly must allow JESUS to be our sole strength. I know this personally to be difficult to make myself do.  But, I am having to trust him more and more.  KNowing the next steps to take with my ministry and with my life are not easy, but if I TAP into the power that only the HOLY spirit can give us I can have the answers that I need.  I am hanging in there trying to do that day by day.  Taking it one day at a time.  Things are going well with my ministry.  I had two speaking engagements last weekend, one in Vicksburg with the 6th grade girls and their moms of Bowmar Baptist Church, and one in Winona at FBC.  They both were a wonderful opportunity for me and I enjoyed it throughly. Today is a gorgeous day outside, yesterday too. I took Bakey to the playground and let him play for about an hour yesterday. I was amazed at how brave he was climbing up the ladder to the big slide.  Its amazing how kids are so trusting.  WE should all be more trusting, not in people and things but in God.  I am having to trust him now.  As life is not what I would have it to be right now.  I would like for things at church to be more stable.  I have been pouring myself into HIS Word though, searching for answers. I know he’ll give them to me in HIS time and not mine.  I’ll continue to read and pray. I know he has something ahead for me beyond my comprehension and much better than anything I could ever come up with!

Its amazing how quickly things can change. I have had many mountaintop experiences over the past few weeks with God, but I am indeed going through a valley as we speak. Our pastor resigned this week at church and everything is in a bit of confusion. I am not sure what will happen in the days ahead. I have been earnestly seeking God’s will for me and my family, and also for our church family. Now, I’m just waiting for him to tell me. So… since I’m impatient I am not liking the wait. But he is in Control.
