Attention… an annoucement
I took a pregnancy test today and it turned out + (Positive) so we’re having baby number 2!! Thank you, Thank you very much! We hope we’ll have a girl this time! I should be due, late March, 1st of April!

Feeling Down
WEll, I am definitely having a low day today. I am feeling down and unsuccessful. I am not going to make my DIQ, with the girls dropping off and lieing to us about joining and placing qualifying orders there is no way I’ll make my numbers. SIgh! I had high hopes but it just doesn’t look like I’m going to make it. I was so hopeful.
Then, I just don’t know what to do , because I went part time at my job to do BeautiControl full time and I cannot get enough bookings to stay afloat. Sigh! I am having major troubles booking and holding spas which is the lifeblood of this business. I was on a DIQ call this Am and a girl on there says, “I just don’t have a problem booking spas, I hold 12-13 a month.” I was like “HOW!” Though, I couldn’t ask her.
This just begins to make me question what am I suppose to be doing. I though God had led me to this but he doesn’t seem to be blessing my efforts. My husband is getting extra work right and left that we are making extra money on which is good. But I want to be successful too. I have done everything I know to do, positive thinking, prayer, etc. I don’t know what else to do to keep going! I just need your prayers, and I hope that Celebration will pump me up too. We leave in 6 days!
Busy Week
I literally have something to do every night this week. We had visitation at church last night, went out visiting to invite folks to Revival that is next week. Tonight I have a unit meeting for BeautiControl, tomorrow night is church I have the kids summer program, last one for this year. Thursday night I have a cottage prayer meeting to go to for revival at church, and Friday Greg and I are taking the youth to Jackson to a MS Braves semi-pro baseball game. That should be fun and we’re spending the night. So we wont’ be back until Saturday sometime. Sunday is church again and we have Revival so we will have potluck. Sunday night I have a Children’s Night Pizza Party and Banana Split bar after the service. We’ll have Revival Monday noon and night, Tuesday noon and night and then Wednesday at 5 am I leave for Dallas to go to BeautiControl’s Celebration which I am sooo ready to do. At least I have a lot to keep me busy between now and then! I like busy!
Gratitude
I have heard so much on having an “attitude of gratitude” in the last couple of days that I thought that I should blog about it. Gratitude is definitely something that you don’t see alot of anymore. Another WAHOO kind of day
Finally today, my DIQ status showed up on my Beautinet page, a consultant page for us BeautiControl Consultants where we keep up with our activity an the activity of the consultants in our downline, check in with the latest products and promotions. I was so excited to see it and that the new recruits in my downline are placing qualifying orders. From the looks of things now I will make it through month 1 of DIQ! WAHOOO!!! I’m so excited!

I am so excited.. one of my newest BeautiControl recruits has recruited 2 ladies and then yesterday one of those ladies recruited a lady! Finally, I am having ladies who want to build a team!! WHOO HOO! I’m so excited..
Praises and Prayer Concerns
Well… thought I”d report on the status of my job and church situation. Tonight a representative from my youth/children’s committee took their recommendation for my position to again be considered part time with the ammendments made to my job description, my not being responsible for VBS being a huge one and my pay to stay the same before the deacons at their meeting. THey seemed all for it from what I understand but they were trying to curtail any quesitons or uncertainty from the chruch so they had me answer some questiosn before taking it before the church. SOO, they didn’t take it to the business meeting and will have to wait another month. As time rolls on, I still only have to do what I have committed to as part time and keep going. I will be off July 26- August 2 and hopefully as soon as I come back this will be resolved. Just a couple of more weeks to deal with it. Keep it in your prayers. As a matter of praise I had a great youth meeting tonight. One of my prior youth whose family chose to go to another church during all this mess with our pastor came to our youth meeting tonight, we had it at a church members house after church she fixed us a huge meal and I stuffed myself, the kids hung out, had a great time and we made bridges out of popsicle sticks which they seemed to enjoy and I tied it into the lesson as a representation of our relationship to Christ and what makes our bridge to him stronger. Turned out great! I appreciate your prayers and I”m thankful to GOD for a good day in the Lord’s house and in the house of one of my church members whom I love dearly.
Bargains
I love to shop, but even more I love to shop for a bargain. Today Baker and I went shopping with my mom and my grandmother. We live 100 miles from the nearest mall, but today we ventured there. I was hunting a top to match some black gauchos that I have that I want to wear to Celebration at the end of the month. Then my mom and grandmother gave me a little cash so I had some extra to buy something else. I ended up with 3 items. A silk cardigan that I got at an extreme bargain of $6.97 plus tax regular, $44.00 A pair of cuffed, cement colored dress pants that I got at the steal of $9.97 regular $40.00 and a ruffled black and white blouse that I got 1/2 off $30 so… $15. For less than $40 I have 2 new outfits for Celebration! I am so pumped!! WHOO HOO!!! I love to shop!
FLYING
Wow, Time sure is flying by. Its already the 5th day of July. Sure is hard to believe. Yesterday we celebrated the 4th of July. We had fireworks, two cookouts, lots of food. I’m shocked at how fast the month is passing. At the end of this month I’m going to be going to Dallas, TX to CELEBRATION with BeautiControl. I am super excited about that trip! I cannot wait! We are going to have a blast. There are 6 ladies going from our unit.
Today we will have SOK at church. I hope that the ladies who were going to line help up for me did so. I am hoping that this agreement for me to work part time works out well with the church. I am glad that we worked something out, but I hope that everyone can respect it. Working only Sundays and Wednesdays will be nice for me. I am truly aiming to do well with my BeautiControl business this go around and want to make my DIQ as well. I am in DIQ starting this month! Wish me luck!
Decided
Well, this morning I got a call from our interim pastor that he wanted to meet with me. I then found out one of my committee members had contacted him and so I asked the whole committee, well those who were in town to come to the meeting with me. We laid everything out on the table at this time, and we able to come to a resolution that I was doing full time work for part time pay, however that I could go part time , be paid the same plus insurance and have a lessoning of responsibilities, which I was in favor of. So, my responsibilities will now be just Sunday mornings and evenings and WEdnesday evenings. I will now be considered part time but with the same pay as I now have, plus insurance. I am satisfied with this, hopefully the deacons and the church will agree to it and all will be solved, at least for now! My summer program is back on… being manned by volunteers! I will be there to versee it beginning Wednesday. NO sabbatical but at least an agreement has been made, I am only required to work Wednesdays and Sundays and I can work my business during the week as I choose. I am excited about that because I started Director Qualification period this month, and I want to be successful at it this time around.
