Today’s guest Bible journaler I found on Instagram when I started following a variety of Bible Journalers there by following the hashtag #biblejournaling.  Let me introduce you to Brittany Carleton who is going to help you learn a new Bible journaling technique with this easy how-to video.

Hey, friends, I’m Brittany Carleton and I am a small town East Texas girl with a big heart and an even bigger passion for Jesus and bible journaling!

How long have you been Bible journaling?

I have been bible journaling for a little over one solid year.

How did you get started in Bible journaling?

I saw it on Pinterest, thought it wasn’t cool. Decided to buy a bible then started looking on Instagram and saw the differences and fell in love!

What is your favorite thing about Bible journaling?

That I’m intentionally in the word on a daily basis and using my creativity (that I didn’t know I had) to spend time with Jesus!

What is your favorite Bible journaling tool?

Stamps. Lots and Lots of stamps!!

Do you journal in a journaling Bible, an art journal or in something else?

A journaling bible! I’m currently on bible #3 & #4! (Yes two at one time…)

Hey y’all! I’m Brittany Carleton and I am from East Texas! My husband Jon and I have been married for almost 4 years and we have two children together- Nolan who is 2, and Colton who is 1. (13 mo and 1 day apart...keep me in your prayers for like 18 years k?) I am also blessed with a bonus daughter Kylie who is 10. I am a SAHM who spends a lot of her time saying “get off that table” & “don’t eat that!” It’s a crazy life but I wouldn’t change it for the world. I spend my extra time bible journaling and teaching bible journaling classes in my hometown! I love pretty much all things crafty and using this “hobby” of mine to be the hands and feet of Christ!

I am new to Bible journaling as well as new to stamping. How long does it take to dry? Also do u take stamps off the sheet and then put on stamp mounting block then replace? How many different color ink pads did u use? What watercolors did u use? Your mountains look lovely!

Thank you Katrina! It dries seriously quickly! I use a Black VersaFine ink pad so it dries quick and I can easily watercolor afterwards without smearing the stamping! I do take the stamps off the clear sheet, put them on the block- stamp then return to the sheet because I have a habit of losing everything! Thanks again for watching!

Wow!! Now I need to look for stamps!! I can do this method…
