Alyssa Avant is renowned for her writing and speaking skills. She attributes her success to her determination and perfectionism. Despite raising three children, Alyssa built a thriving business and ensures every client is fully satisfied with her work.

She is the author of Faith Leaps: The Christian Mom’s Guide to Passion, Purpose, and Profits, and Faith Leaps: The Christian Mom’s Guide to Starting a Virtual Assistant Business.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Mississippi and a Master’s in Christian Leadership from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary.

I just finished this book and I am so glad I read it! Alyssa gives a realistic look at the business of being a virtual assistant. She shares her own experience (and mistakes!) in a very readable and actionable way. I had no idea where to even start but after reading this book I feel like I have enough good information to get started. I’m also glad to have this to be able to refer back to as I start working. This book has me not only ready but excited to get started! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to work as a VA.

I’m leaving the typical workplace and taking a leap of faith myself in the coming weeks. I really loved this book and how it is very practical. I loved her advice and how she stayed in tune with her Christian beliefs. This book was really inspiring.

Beginning your own Virtual Assistant business can seem overwhelming. Faith Leaps gives you what you need to know to get started in bite-sized easy to follow directions. Being a “researcher” by nature I can often get distracted in learning and not doing. I know Faith Leaps’ is a great resource to help me from getting distracted in learning and will help focus on just doing it!
